As an adult, addressing out mental health is complicated. Mental health issues become even more difficult to navigate when it comes to our children. What mental health issues face children today? How do we know when to seek out help from a mental health provider? Is my child’s behavior “normal?” In this educational meeting, Dr. Burland will answer some of these questions by discussing several child mental health issues including anxiety, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She will also address what parents should for, when parents should seek help from a mental health professional and some of the available treatments for different disorders. There will be plenty of time for Q & A.
